Mer app-översättning, tack!

Avison hjälper RaccoonDevelopment att göra sina appar internationella. I ett första projekt har Avison översatt en spännande app till franska och spanska. Men vi hoppas detta bara är början.

Don’t hate, communicate!

I am sure you have seen the fantastic and, as always, controversial new campaign from Benetton; the UNHATE Campaign. It’s all about the fine line between love and hate.

It’s about us embracing the idea of combating hatred… on a global level. In this campaign, Benetton takes a look at the most prominent and powerful people in our world. And in a world of growing internationalization, but widening culture gaps, brings them together.

The need to communicate and understand one another is greater than ever. Can’t we just examine one another’s cultures and beliefs and give them a great big smack on the lips? We can embrace one another, and still remain aware of our differences. That’s our challenge.

Avison lovin’ Bloglovin’

Avison’s passion for communication and ideas takes us to places where inspiration and persistence work together to bring projects successfully to life.

 
Creative Mornings organised a short and sweet presentation last Friday by one of the founders of Bloglovin’, Mattias Swenson. Mattias entertained us with a nice presentation full of anecdotes and with an encouraging and powerful message: don´t give up!

According to Mattias, Bloglovin´ was born on a night out when two of its cofounders realized they needed a way of getting free beer! They created a website where they would review beers from different places with the aim of getting them for free when visiting the pubs and bars subject to their “study”. It didn´t work…  And neither did their first delve into the fashion world. But their persistence finally paid off when they realized there was a need they could fulfil: a website where we can check out all our favourite blogs!  It was an immediate success in Sweden, but they wanted more and so they started working with the English language and targeting the whole world!  Today, Bloglovin´ has over a million visitors and 28 million page views per week… not bad!
